Took my GF to Atlanta for a over night trip and a get away and thought I would go upscale since its our first time in the city. Hotel is not close to what I expected for the price. It was the worst night I have ever had in a hotel, give me a holiday inn anytime. Every noise could be heard, from flushing tiolets to elevators all night long. When the people next door coughed I think the whole hotel could hear it. And who picked these pillows what a joke, if you go bring your own or take one off the couch! Hotel feels like it was pieced together out of spare pieces, and they put a glass roof over it. Not worth the money. The pool is in one tower so if you want to use it you have to take your stuff accross a sky bridge. Parking $* really come on. The resturant is very good, very expensive but very good and the drinks were expensive but I was expecting that $* for a cosmo for her, $* for a a beer for me... I`ll be back to the city but not the hotel.

This hotel is nice, but typical of being near a conference center the cost is steep. A bottle of water is $* + tax & handling, no continental breakfast at all, internet is $* per day. Basically no free amentities with a $* night price for a lower level room. The attached resturants will cost you about $* a person for dinner. Room service will cost you about $* for a cheeseburger, fries and small drink. The South Tower rooms face the food court area of CNN and basketball arena, it is very noisy. Don't try to sleep. Also the bathrooms were almost the size of the small room. TV stations were almost all CNN and were very clear, the few others had poor reception, so it was CNN or no TV. The bathtub didn't drain well and toilet leaked to where it would refill every 2 minutes, all night. As mentioned nice place if money is no object. On a side note though, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful

I was in town for the Women of Faith conference along with 15000 other women. I made my reservation only the night before attending. At the time of making my reservation, I asked about the valet fees and was told that it was $30 per day. Imagine my surprise when I was only charged for one night on my bill! Since I arrived before the check-in time, I asked if they had somewhere that they could store my luggage, and they informed me that I could go ahead and check into my room early - at 9 a.m.! Everyone I encountered was super friendly from the check-in to the maid service to the valet. Rooms couldn't have been nicer or more convenient. All I had to do was walk across the food court to get directly into Phillips Arena - didn't even have to go outside in the rain. Would DEFINITELY stay here again if I had an event at Phillips!
